Without a doubt, the Grand Teton is the most iconic element of the Grand Tetons National Park. Its profile is one of the most recognizable mountains in the world. So when I set out to capture this mountain peak in a way that would stand out, I knew I would have to work at it. I had to get the composition, time of year, time of day, and the weather conditions just right. My travel buddy, my wife, was sleeping in the back of our car while I drove early in the morning to find this frame. It was worth the sacrifice and effort to make it happen.
