There is a mystical quality to the light when it's the golden hour in the mountains during the fall. Wandering through the trees behind Mount Timpanogos, I found myself in a scene where the colors were warm and the shadows were long. It reminded me of crispy fall days as a child exploring the woods near my home in Oklahoma. This is why I go out in the mountains - my 10-year-old self would approve.
