Winter Creek

Some look at this scene and think "cold". For me, I think 'quiet'. I have long been a fan of all seasons and I am particularly in love with winter because of the way it transforms the world and creates new spaces. I am always looking for small coves and nooks that is hidden by snow drifts and bent branches. This particular moment felt like a storybook place where woodland critters huddled under the limbs and the stream trickled around snow-capped rocks.
