It took me a while to learn the growing season of wildflowers in the mountains. Once I discovered the bloom happening in the higher elevations, I wanted to be there. It felt like another 'fall' kind of event where the window is small, but the rewards are great. I timed it right in this particular season and found myself in the middle of rainbow-colored meadows at the tops of the mountains. Just incredible.
