We have a collection of mountains near our home that are like a second home to me. I visit them regularly and during every season. One of my favorite destinations is Maple Lake, a small body of water surrounded by maple trees (surprise!) with mountain peaks surrounding the scene. In the fall, the lake becomes a mirror of reds, yellows, and oranges. Here, you see one of the pathways to this oft visited sanctuary.
