The Grand Tetons are a spectacular jewel in the National Park Service. It is vast and full of places to explore, with a handful of iconic locations that almost anyone will recognize. One of those icons is the footbridge at String Lake. It leads you on to one of the more popular trails in the park, and along the way you will get to see the most amazing views and occasionally a bear wrestling berries off a bush. My first time there, my travel buddy, my wife, and I headed out over this bridge, and it felt like the beginning of an adventure. I think every significant trail should begin this way.
