In Utah, one of the most sought-after fall experiences is to drive through the Alpine Loop in Utah Valley. Along this route is a collection of aspen groves that are spectacular in the fall. The challenge is to find them when no one else does. I have spent countless hours and drives when the colors are at their peak to get a good photo in this popular destination. This evening worked out perfectly. I arrived with no one else around. I was in position and set up for golden hour, and it was go time! It was quiet with a little chill of fall air – a spectacular evening to be out. I captured this moment with a peaceful sigh and gratitude for being there.
